work in progress

I've been working on this project now for ever it seems like. Its the second garment I have made that is not a scarf. Its from the Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmirno 2 book. Such a small thing shouldn't be so difficult to work with. I've pulled it apart at least 5 times. As I was told to do, I decided to work in the round, instead of having to seam up the sides. I was doing fine until I got to the intarsia part. Apparently you can't do intarsia in the round, no one told me that! Being the novice knitter that I am, how was I to know? So, tip to all those like me, just learning and trying new things, you can't knit intarsia in the round. So, here is what I have now, a back, and an almost finished front, that must be seamed together. (The stitch markers mark where the X goes) Complete with, my favorite part, little baby cables, a pain to make, but so cute.
Based on Ruffle Scarf pattern found in
Holiday Knits By Sara Lucas & Allison Isaacs.
